Using mostly a palette knife, Susi created this 16" x 20" vibrant portrait building layers of texture, mixing an impasto gel with iridescent oil paints. Each layer had to dry before the next was applied. This painting required onme month to complete. It is an homage to a woman we will never see the likes of again, and you can bring her into your home or study, your family room, any place you'd want to remember a true Legend. The edges of the Gallery-Wrap canvas are painted also, the image wraps around the sides so no frame is needed.
